Every year large female bull sharks migrate through the warm nutrient rich waters of Playa del Carmen, Mexico. The bulls make these waters their temporary home before they migrate off to pup in the estuaries around Mexico. December is the peak season for this migration and the time we have chosen to visit this unique and special place. We just returned from there after a very successful December 2010 trip we decided to go back out there during this same time in 2011. This is a land based adventure, set in the tourist town of Playa del Carmen. Playa del Carmen is a port town located right across from the island of Cozumel, Mexico. So there is a lot to do when we are not diving, or talking shark with your fellow shark divers. We will be diving with the bulls twice a day to interact and photograph these beautiful animals, at depths averaging 65-70 feet. So if your up for this high octane adventure... join us!

Reality check; Bull sharks are very large sharks, and when they are not acting shy, they will make close passes by the divers. This is normal behavior for them, but if your not ready for it, it will be a gut check. We do use chum and fish carcasses to bring the sharks in close, which sometimes causes the sharks to get excited. Our goal is to dive and get close to these sharks for some of the best opportunities to photograph, film and observe them, so please remember this before you choose this type of trip. It is not for the weak of heart.
The Trip Includes;
-Four days of diving - 2 tank dives per day with the bull sharks (weather dependant)
-Hotel room in Playa Carmen ( located behind the dive shop... dble occ.)
-Transfers (to and from) Cancun International Airport to Playa Carmen in private van
-Barbecue party on our final evening in town with the dive staff.
